🛠️ Installation

The module installs behind the original SYNC 2 system using the supplied Plug & Play harness.

Basic installation:

1. Remove the required dashboard trim.
2. Access the original SYNC 2 screen / infotainment connections.
3. Connect the supplied Plug & Play harness between the original connectors and decoder box.
4. Connect the required module cables.
5. Position the decoder securely behind the dashboard.
6. Reassemble the dashboard.
7. Pair your phone with the new CarPlay / Android Auto interface.

No factory wires need to be cut.

Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable removing Ford dashboard trim or infotainment components.
