Map update for Mazda 3 2017

I bought a Mazda 3 2017 and the Sat Nav had never been updated. Ordered the SD update card for £34.99 and it arrived after two days, insert the SD into the slot and it automatically started to install on my screen, then update done, tested it by driving to local estates that only been built recently and it worked perfectly! Main dealer wanted £180 to give me the same result! Very pleased

Prompt delivery and first class service. At just under £35 also amazing value. Most importantly it works perfectly and immediately on putting the SD card in the system. Especially as I had already paid Mazda a reduced price of £45 for an update which failed to install on the original SD and then the card was no longer recognised by my PC or car SatNav. The full price for Mazda update is over £100!!! Latestsatnav were also the cheapest I found. One very happy customer.

I recently purchased two 2024-25 Sat Nav SD Card Updates for my Mazda vehicles – a Mazda CX-5 and a Mazda 3. I wanted to ensure both of my cars had the most up-to-date maps and navigation features, especially since I frequently drive across Europe for work and leisure. The SD cards arrived incredibly quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t expecting them to be delivered so fast, and it was great to get started with the installation right away.

The installation process was simple and straightforward, taking just a few minutes for each car. The first card I installed in my Mazda CX-5 worked flawlessly. The maps were detailed and accurate, making navigation a breeze, especially on unfamiliar roads. I was very pleased with how easy it was to update the system.

However, I made a bit of a mistake with the second SD card. Out of curiosity and without really thinking it through, I decided to try both SD cards in the same vehicle – my Mazda CX-5. Both cards worked perfectly fine in that car, which initially made me think everything was in order. But when I moved on to my Mazda 3 to install the second card, neither of the SD cards would work. It turned out that once an SD card is used in a car, it becomes locked to that car's VIN and cannot be used in another vehicle. Unfortunately, I had inadvertently locked both cards to my Mazda CX-5.

I was concerned that I might have to purchase a whole new SD card for my Mazda 3, but I decided to reach out to LatestSatNav to explain the situation.
