Does your old Audi RMC navigation SD card work while a newer map card is rejected? Your system may need a licence covering the newer map edition.
Our Lifetime Navigation Map Activation service enables compatible maps on supported RMC systems, without purchasing another activation for each future compatible release.

Map SD cards and map files are separate unless included in your selected order. Lifetime activation does not include free future maps or make incompatible cards work.
🚗 Vehicle & System Compatibility
Primarily for compatible Audi A6 / S6 / RS6 C7 and A7 / S7 / RS7 C7 vehicles, approximately 2010–2018, depending on the installed system.
The software normally begins RMC_EU. Compatibility must be confirmed from the complete version information.
Audi A1: ❌ Not supported by this activation method.
Audi Q3: A different procedure is required, normally involving removal of the RMC unit. Contact us before ordering.

Please send us:
✔ Your Audi model and year
✔ A photo showing the complete RMC software version
✔ The current navigation map version, if visible
✔ Any navigation error message displayed
Messages such as “Navigation not enabled” or “Navigation not available” can have different causes. We will check suitability before recommending activation.
💻 What You Need for Remote Activation
✔ Windows laptop or PC
✔ Stable internet connection near the vehicle
✔ Our specified compatible VAG diagnostic cable
✔ Access to the vehicle during the session
Cable available for £20 if required. Please confirm compatibility before using an existing cable; not every VAG or OBD cable supports this procedure.
🛠️ How It Works
- Arrange the remote session after compatibility is confirmed.
- Connect the diagnostic cable between your Audi and Windows computer.
- Connect the computer to the internet and allow our remote support connection.
- We install the lifetime map licence.
- We check navigation operation with compatible map media.
Activation typically takes 10–20 minutes, excluding setup or troubleshooting. Maintain a stable vehicle power supply throughout the session.
❗ Important Information
This service is navigation map licence activation. It does not repair faulty SD cards, resolve every navigation error or remove component protection from a replacement unit.
